Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage vendor relationships and oversee financial transactions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Based in San Francisco, California, this role is fully remote, with occasional collaboration required during designated hours. Responsibilities: • Manage vendor onboarding processes, including collecting required documentation and reviewing tax forms such as W-9s. • Process, verify, and submit invoices for approval while ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. • Collaborate with the VP of Finance to oversee payment schedules and expense management using platforms like QuickBooks Online and Ramp. • Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure proper categorization using general ledger codes. • Conduct spot checks on monthly invoices and payments for over 125 creators and 30 invoices per month. • Support the transition and migration of vendor management systems as needed. • Interface with clients and internal stakeholders to address payment-related inquiries. • Assist in maintaining a robust accounts payable process while identifying opportunities for improvement. • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures during all accounts payable activities. • Provide support during payroll processing days and other financial operations. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Ramp is required. • Strong understanding of general ledger codes and financial categorization. • Experience with managing vendor relationships and onboarding processes. • Attention to detail and ability to perform accurate spot checks on invoices. • Excellent communication skills for interfacing with clients and internal teams. • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment. • Interest in social media or familiarity with creator-driven industries is a plus.
