Description Are you looking to grow your accounting career in the medical field? We’re seeking an Entry-Level Accounts Payable Specialist to join a healthcare-focused team in Fort Worth, TX. This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity with a focus on processing non-PO invoices and supporting the AP department with day-to-day tasks. Key Responsibilities: + Review and process non-PO invoices for services such as lab work, physician contracts, facilities, and more + Verify invoice details and ensure proper GL coding + Route invoices for approval in accordance with policy + Enter approved invoices into the AP system + Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status + Coordinate with department heads to resolve invoice discrepancies + Assist with check runs, ACH, and wire payments + Maintain vendor files and support month-end close + Scan and index invoices and file AP documentation Requirements Requirements: + 1+ year of Accounts Payable experience preferred (internship or admin exposure in AP also considered) + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Experience in a medical or healthcare setting a plus + Familiarity with AP software (Lawson, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.) a bonus + Must be dependable, professional, and comfortable working 100% onsite Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
