WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Accounts Payable role will be responsible for providing financial, clerical, and administrative support to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all invoices. This position will also play a key role in supporting the implementation of new processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the function.
Major duties and responsibilities: Manage and track a high volume of payments Establish and manage profiles for all vendors Audit bills and vendors Maintain vendor relationships Perform spending analysis, including margin analysis Document and maintain consistent and efficient AP processes Organize and file paid invoices to ensure proper audit trial Perform ad hoc administrative and accounting duties as requested WHO YOU ARE
To perform this role successfully, the Accounts Payable role must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, education, and overall experience required for the role.
Experience & Education Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. With one year of payables experience preferred Experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP, SAP Concur, Oracle, etc.) Excellent organization and communication skills Ability to multi-task Strong attention to detail Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (IF/Then/Else statements, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.) required, including working with CSV files and Data Extraction Experience successfully managing high volume transactions Desire to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to initiate and manage change Ability to work efficiently on an independent basis, or with a team
