Accounts Payable Representative: III (Senior)
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Representative to join our team in St. Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounts payable processes. Responsibilities: • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. • Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies or inquiries related to accounts payable. • Utilize ERP solutions and other financial systems to manage and track payment workflows. • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to support internal controls and audits. • Analyze and improve accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Support the procure-to-pay cycle, ensuring timely payment of invoices and adherence to deadlines. • Communicate effectively with team members and external partners to address issues and provide updates. • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements. • Assist in the implementation of process improvements and best practices within the accounts payable function. • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing concerns promptly. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Familiarity with finance, accounting, and accounts payable/receivable processes. • Preferred certifications include Accounts Payable Specialist or Certified Accounts Payable Associate. • Experience with ERP systems and procure-to-pay processes is a plus. • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment with onsite presence as required.
