Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our team in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in processing invoices, securing approvals, and posting payments efficiently. Responsibilities: • Process incoming invoices by accurately coding and entering them into the accounting system. • Coordinate with team members to obtain invoice approvals and ensure timely payment postings. • Utilize Oracle ERP software to manage accounts payable workflows effectively. • Conduct check runs twice a month to maintain payment schedules. • Track and follow up on outstanding invoice approvals to support smooth operations. • Handle invoices received via Outlook, ensuring proper entry and coding. • Collaborate with controllers for final authorization of bank fund transfers. • Facilitate ACH and wire payments, ensuring compliance with organizational procedures. • Perform 2-way and 3-way matching for invoices to verify accuracy and completeness. Requirements • Proven experience with Oracle ERP systems. • Proficiency in accounts payable processes, including coding and posting payments. • Familiarity with ACH and wire payment procedures. • Strong understanding of invoice matching techniques (2-way and 3-way matching). • Ability to manage high volumes of invoices, approximately 75-100 per week. • Expertise in accounting software systems and functions. • Excellent communication skills for coordinating approvals and authorizations. • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and coding. ** All candidates must undergo Drug and Background screening to be considered.
