Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Operations Clerk to join our team in Valley Park, Missouri, on a Contract-to-Permanent basis. The ideal candidate will excel in handling accounts payable processes, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. Responsibilities: • Process invoices with precision, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies. • Address vendor inquiries promptly and foster positive relationships with vendors. • Reconcile accounts payable transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies efficiently. • Prepare and execute electronic transfers and payments in a timely manner. • Support month-end closing activities by organizing documentation and generating required reports. • Maintain thorough, organized, and accurate records in adherence to accounting standards. • Conduct lien and title searches, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. • Collaborate with dealers and other stakeholders to streamline accounts payable processes. • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency within the accounting department. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role. • Proficient in managing lien and title searches. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively. • High school diploma required; an associate degree in accounting or a related field is preferred. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with vendors and internal teams. • Familiarity with accounts payable systems and electronic payment processing. • Dependable and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. • Business casual attire required for the workplace.
