The Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely resolution of payment issues, responding to store/operations case inquiries within SLA timelines, and sufficiency of reporting on expense reports payments cost center owners. The manager will challenge the status quo, lead change management and establish solid internal controls. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Supervise approximately 25 team members supporting the expense report processing, vendor maintenance, corporate credit cards, case inquiries/disputes, and general accounting requirements + Continuous review of process to ensure efficient, effective process flow and internal controls + Solid knowledge of accounting concepts/standards + Provide support to Senior Manager - Accounts Payable related to projects and systems integrations + Support internal and external audit requests + Establish appropriate reporting/tools to monitor key data critical to processing + Report out to accounting management on teams' production and issues + Collaborate with IT on system enhancements + Assist in month-end accounting reviews to ensure sufficiency of transaction processing + Monitor the concerns/issues in submitted cases by store personnel and ensure appropriate responses to cases by team members + Instill with the team a strong understanding of store and support operations + Develop staff and identify personnel for sucession planning + Ensure requisite technical skills are maintained among team members with core applications (Proficiency in Excel, MS applications) to allow efficient processing + Provide timely feedback to team members on areas of success as well as areas of improvement EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE + Education - 4-year bachelors degree + 10 Years of Relevant work experience + 5+ years of management experience Specific knowledge and Skills + Major ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle,etc.) + Large company experience + Strong understanding of company/store operations + Proven experience in challenging the status quo, change management and driving results + Proficient analytical skills and strong working knowledge of MS Excel + Ability to lead without excessive oversight If an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
