We are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead and optimize the accounts payable function for a dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to drive efficiency, ensure compliance, and contribute to the financial success of the organization. Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the entire accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
• Analyze and track performance metrics to identify trends, address inefficiencies, and implement improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and maintain positive relationships.
• Drive the adoption of automation tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency of accounts payable processes.
• Review and approve coding of invoices and purchase orders to ensure proper allocation and documentation.
• Prepare and manage weekly accounts payable reports for senior management.
• Lead initiatives for process improvement and ensure seamless integration of new systems or tools.
• Provide direct supervision and training to team members to support their growth and development.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring a team.
• Extensive experience in accounts payable, including prior leadership roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software, such as iPayables.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors and internal teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of purchase orders, invoice coding, and best practices in accounts payable.
• Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives within financial operations.
