Oversee and direct the activities of 3-4 non-exempt accounts payable coordinators. Perform reviews, coach staff, and ensure the work is adequately reviewed.
Supervise daily processes for the centralized accounts payable function.
Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices, expense vouchers, and maintain accurate records and control reports.
Develop and maintain controls for proper and efficient accounts payable function including vendor management, accrual records, unclaimed property records, invoice records, and payment records.
Oversee the setup, continued management, and system support with outside vendors
Manage annual 1099 issuance process and keep up-to-date on rules and regulations related to 1099s
Develop and maintain an ongoing training program for employees across the Organization who interact with accounts payable
Develop and maintain process to project cash outflows related to accounts payable
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required Degree: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Experience:
5+ years of supervisory experience in Accounts Payable
Proven track record of performance and team development
Shared services/centralized accounting experience strongly preferred
Excellent information systems skills required. Workday experience a plus.
