Accounts Payable Manager
Description An Accounts Payable Manager oversees the accounts payable department and ensures efficient, accurate, and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements. This role is responsible for managing AP staff, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting regulations. The Accounts Payable Manager also analyzes processes to identify improvements, implements technologies to enhance efficiency, and provides detailed reporting on AP activities to senior management. Key Responsibilities: + Lead and manage the accounts payable team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. + Oversee invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor account reconciliations. + Establish and enforce policies related to payment procedures and vendor compliance. + Maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely communication and dispute resolution. + Monitor system performance, implement process improvements, and analyze AP metrics for reporting. Requirements Preferred Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + Proven experience in accounts payable and team management. + Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and organizational skills. + Oracle Fusion experience is required.
