The PositionRoche is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Intern to support our regional finance operations. As part of the APAC shared services center, you will gain hands-on experience in accounts payable processes, financial compliance, and cross-functional collaboration within a leading global healthcare company.
Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, sort, barcode, and pre-archive AP documents
Validate and process various invoice types (PO-based, Non-PO, contract-based, prepayments, etc.)
Perform payment processing including batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH
Investigate and reverse unsuccessful payments
Support AP month-end closing activities in line with the schedule
Conduct reconciliations of AP balance sheet accounts (e.g., GR/IR, GIT, Suspense)
Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on open items
Respond to internal and external finance queries within SLA
Manage vendor relationships and help resolve outstanding issues
Participate in audits and provide requested documentation
Support process improvement initiatives and system testing as needed
Contribute to operational reporting and MDGS data verification
Qualifications & RequirementsPursuing a Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong attention to detail, good time management, and a proactive mindset
Able to commit to a 6-month full-time internship
