Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Miamisburg, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring invoices are accurately processed, approved, and paid in a timely manner. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills in accounting and communication while collaborating with vendors and internal departments. Responsibilities: • Process invoices by accurately coding or matching them to purchase orders while ensuring necessary approvals are obtained. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve purchase order discrepancies and acquire required authorizations. • Communicate with vendors to address inquiries, request documentation, and reconcile account discrepancies. • Maintain accurate and organized records by scanning, filing, and copying relevant documents. • Apply knowledge of accounts payable practices and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency. • Perform general clerical tasks to support the accounts payable function. • Assist in reconciling accounts and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances. • Support the department by identifying and implementing improvements to processes and workflows. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams. • Familiarity with purchase orders, invoice coding, and account reconciliation. • Proficiency in general accounting procedures and practices. • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial documents. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Competence in using office equipment and software for clerical tasks.
