Accounts Payable - Coordinator

The Opportunity 

PwC is a leading global practice in Tax, Assurance and Advisory, offering a wide range of professional services to major clients worldwide, and therefore opportunities for newcomers to our organization. 

Our Managed Services, based in Bucharest, provides an exceptional service for one of our clients. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Associate to join the fast-growing team. 

In this role you would be working to support our big client with Accounts Payable services. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial operations while providing leadership and support to team members. 

What you will be doing 

Coordinate a team of junior people. 

Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment proposals, and reconciliation. 

Facilitate training and development of team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 

Logging accounts payable invoices and setting up payment proposal files for our clients. 

Maintaining new supplier information. 

Processing and recording supplier invoices accurately. 

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by reconciling accounts payable balances and preparing financial reports. 

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 

Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, electronic transfers, and credit card transactions. 

Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and manage vendor accounts. 

Preparing and recording payment orders with all necessary details included. 

Working with specific technical tools for finance: the most important is SAP. 

What we need from you 

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. 

At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable with at least 1 year in a leadership position. 

Fluent in English. 

SAP knowledge  

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 

Excellent communication skills, both in speaking and writing. 

Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team setting. 

Strong attention to detail, precision & analytical skills. 

Detail-oriented mindset.
