Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join one of our clients on a contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. This role requires a keen eye for accuracy and a proactive approach to managing invoice processes and maintaining records. Ideal candidates will bring a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for learning. Responsibilities: • Verify invoices to ensure proper coding and accuracy. • Maintain and organize the accounts payable inbox to facilitate efficient communication. • Process invoices with precision and timeliness. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in billing or vendor statements. • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for reporting purposes. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during invoice processing. • Provide support for ad hoc accounting tasks as needed. • Utilize any prior experience with D365 or similar tools to enhance workflow, if applicable. Requirements • Proven experience with accounts payable processes, including invoice handling. • Ability to accurately code invoices and ensure proper documentation. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Trainable with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems. • Familiarity with accounting software; experience with D365 is a plus. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams. • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
