Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-focused Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This is a contract-to-permanent position offering the opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to essential accounting functions. The role involves managing various accounts payable tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial processes, and supporting the team with ongoing training and development. Responsibilities: • Process 60-80 invoices daily with accuracy and attention to detail. • Print and code expenses while maintaining proper documentation. • Organize and update financial records using the company's accounting system. • Receive training and apply knowledge of P21 or similar accounting software. • Assist with bank reconciliations and develop expertise in this area. • Learn and perform journal entries and financial adjustments. • Match purchase orders with invoices as needed for reconciliation. • Utilize basic Excel functions to support accounting tasks. • Collaborate with management to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. • Support additional accounting responsibilities as training progresses. Requirements • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to learn and adapt to new accounting systems and processes. • Basic proficiency in Excel for copying, pasting, and simple operations. • Willingness to undergo training and retain knowledge effectively. • Familiarity with accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and reconciliation. • Knowledge of P21 or similar accounting systems, such as QuickBooks, is a plus. • Excellent communication skills to work with vendors and internal teams. • Prior experience in accounts payable is helpful but not required.
