Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Newberry, South Carolina. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of the organization by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts payable procedures and a commitment to maintaining precise financial records. Responsibilities: • Accurately process and code invoices in alignment with company policies and procedures. • Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payment to vendors and suppliers. • Verify invoice details and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. • Utilize JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to manage accounts payable functions effectively. • Maintain organized documentation of invoices, payments, and related records for auditing purposes. • Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and provide resolution. • Assist in month-end closing procedures by reconciling accounts payable transactions. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices. • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up to avoid delays. • Continuously review processes for opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in coding invoices and conducting check runs. • Strong knowledge of invoice processing and accounts payable procedures. • Experience using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or similar financial management software. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records. • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members. • Capability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
