Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This is a long-term contract position that requires someone with strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage invoice processing and ensure timely payments. Responsibilities: • Process a high volume of invoices weekly, ranging from 100 to 300, including maintenance invoices. • Verify and code invoices accurately to ensure proper payment allocation. • Utilize SAP software to manage accounts payable activities efficiently. • Conduct regular check runs to meet payment deadlines and maintain vendor relationships. • Identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices and payments. • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes. • Collaborate with internal teams to address payment-related inquiries and issues. • Support ongoing process improvements to streamline accounts payable operations. • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice processing and coding. • Proficiency in SAP or similar accounting software. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation. • Ability to manage high volumes of invoices in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and payment processes. • Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams. • Familiarity with check runs and payment scheduling.
