Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Midland, Texas. In this role, you will manage vendor transactions, monitor accuracy in invoice processing, and ensure compliance with company policies. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the energy sector. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable transactions for multiple entities and vendors, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. • Match invoices to purchase orders, address discrepancies, and verify correctness. • Maintain and strengthen vendor relationships by responding to inquiries and fostering clear communication. • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure smooth operations. • Review and process employee expense reports in alignment with company policies. • Prepare necessary documentation to support audits and month-end financial close processes. • Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives to improve workflows and efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles. • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles; formal coursework in accounting is a plus. • Proficiency in Excel; prior experience with NetSuite is highly preferred. • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and colleagues. • Ability to solve problems independently and work collaboratively in a team environment.
