Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Matthews, North Carolina. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to ensure accurate and efficient management of invoice processing and payment systems. As part of a growing organization in the real estate industry, you will play a key role in maintaining streamlined accounts payable operations. Responsibilities: • Process high volumes of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments. • Assist with transitioning payment methods to ACH for greater efficiency. • Organize and maintain detailed filing systems for accounts payable records. • Support the cleanup and optimization of invoice workflows to improve processing speed. • Utilize Acumatica ERP software to manage accounts payable tasks. • Reconcile accounts by applying knowledge of debits and credits. • Collaborate with team members to handle end-of-year accounts payable activities. • Conduct check runs and ensure proper coding for invoices. • Pull and review invoices to ensure compliance with company policies. • Assist in managing accounts payable operations for newly acquired properties. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related field. • Proficiency in processing invoices and performing check runs. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. • Familiarity with Acumatica ERP software is highly preferred. • Solid understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits. • Ability to manage high volumes of invoices effectively. • Excellent data entry and computer skills. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
