Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's team in Oakdale, Minnesota. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate processing and reconciliation of financial transactions. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper coding and timely payment. • Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. • Organize and execute check runs to meet payment schedules. • Enter data into financial systems with precision and efficiency. • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies. • Monitor accounts payable aging reports and address overdue payments. • Maintain detailed records of transactions and documentation for auditing purposes. • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounts payable process. *Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.
