Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires expertise in full-cycle accounts payable processes, including high-volume invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills to resolve vendor issues, as well as strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with other departments regarding invoices and purchase orders. Proficiency in MS Excel and 10-key data entry is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
+ Execute full-cycle accounts payable, including auditing, matching, batching, and coding invoices.
+ Process and verify 300–400 invoices weekly to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
+ Resolve vendor issues promptly, fostering positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
+ Collaborate with other departments to address discrepancies in invoices and purchase orders.
+ Maintain current AP accruals in compliance with company policy and reporting standards.
+ Process and oversee a high volume of invoices while adhering to strict deadlines.
+ Conduct scanning, verifying, and auditing processes for invoices with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
+ Utilize intermediate-level MS Excel skills, including creating pivot tables and performing VLOOKUP functions.
+ Perform data entry functions with a speed of 8,000 KPH or more while maintaining high accuracy.
+ Operate 10-key data entry systems for numerical inputting tasks.
Requirements
+ Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Experience: Demonstrated expertise in managing all stages of AP processing.
+ Matching, Batching, Coding Expertise: Proven ability to process invoices with precision.
+ Problem Solving and Collaboration: Ability to resolve vendor disputes and work collaboratively with internal teams.
+ High Volume Invoice Processing: Experience in processing 300–400 invoices per week is essential.
+ AP Accruals Knowledge: Familiarity with accrual accounting methods in accounts payable.
+ Technical Proficiency: Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and high-speed 10-key data entry (8,000 KPH or more).
+ Attention to Detail: Strong auditing and verifying skills to ensure documentation accuracy.
