Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. In this role, you will handle critical financial tasks such as processing invoices, managing payments, and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation. Responsibilities: • Review and process invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Accurately code invoices and ensure proper documentation for financial records. • Manage check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors. • Reconcile discrepancies in invoices and resolve any payment-related issues. • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations. • Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities. • Monitor payment schedules and address any delays or concerns. • Adhere to all accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in coding invoices and managing check runs. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation. • Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliation procedures. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams. • Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant software tools.
