Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Pompano Beach, Florida. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in invoice processing, and maintaining organized records. Responsibilities: • Process and enter invoices accurately into QuickBooks Online, ensuring compliance with company policies. • Review financial statements to identify and resolve missing invoices or discrepancies. • Perform coding of invoices and ensure proper categorization for efficient tracking. • Conduct regular check runs, verifying the accuracy of payments and addressing any issues. • Maintain organized and up-to-date records for all accounts payable transactions. • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address inquiries and resolve payment-related concerns. • Ensure timely processing of invoices to meet payment deadlines. • Support the team in managing high-volume data entry tasks with precision and speed. • Uphold confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial information. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or similar financial roles. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for invoice processing and record management. • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in financial documents. • Excellent typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy. • Familiarity with invoice coding and categorization processes. • Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
