Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a manufacturing company in Ceres, California. This is a long-term contract position offering consistent hours Monday through Friday. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments and financial records. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable transactions efficiently, including matching receipts and verifying payment authorizations. • Maintain effective communication with vendors and internal teams to address inquiries and ensure smooth operations. • Perform reconciliations of vendor statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly. • Organize and file accounts payable vouchers systematically for easy retrieval and compliance. • Prepare wire transfers, foreign exchange transactions, and book transfers as part of cash management processes. • Generate and review expense reports for weekly reimbursements to employees. • Maintain and reconcile accrued receipts reports to ensure accurate financial tracking. • Distribute accounting paperwork related to assets and construction-in-progress documentation. • Take on additional tasks as assigned by management to support departmental needs. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related role. • Proficiency in data entry, including numeric entry, with a high degree of accuracy. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial recordkeeping and reporting. • Familiarity with accounts payable processes and best practices. • Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders professionally. • Ability to organize and maintain financial documents effectively. • Experience in reconciling financial statements and resolving discrepancies.
