Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices while maintaining compliance with financial policies. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment within the construction industry. Responsibilities: • Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices in alignment with company policies and regulations. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders. • Conduct thorough reviews of checks to confirm the accuracy of invoice processing by team members. • Reconcile vendor statements and address any identified inconsistencies. • Communicate effectively with vendors and project teams to resolve accounts payable issues. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations. • Plan and execute assigned tasks efficiently while adhering to deadlines. • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality to support team operations. Requirements • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in accounts payable or a related role. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, as well as accounting software. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to solve problems effectively. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. • Excellent multitasking skills, with the capacity to meet tight deadlines under minimal supervision. • Familiarity with accounts payable processes, vendor statement reconciliation, and invoice management.
