Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Annandale, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including invoices and payments. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a solid background in accounts payable processes. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices, ensuring proper coding and accuracy before posting. • Manage check runs and ensure timely payment to vendors. • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile discrepancies. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice-related issues. • Utilize Oracle software to process invoices and manage accounts payable tasks. • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. • Assist in preparing documentation for audits and financial reporting. • Communicate effectively with vendors to address payment inquiries. • Contribute to the improvement of accounts payable procedures and workflows. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment processing. • Familiarity with Oracle software or similar financial systems. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams. • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. • Experience with check runs and reconciliations.
