Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Minnetonka, Minnesota. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of financial transactions and ensure smooth payment processes. The ideal candidate will bring attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong background in accounts payable functions. Responsibilities: • Process vendor invoices by accurately coding, matching, and verifying details to ensure timely payment. • Handle bill of ladings and create purchase orders while maintaining accurate documentation. • Perform regular check runs and manage electronic payments to ensure payment portals are active and functional. • Reconcile credit card transactions and resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Maintain direct deposit accounts and monitor portals to guarantee smooth financial operations. • Ensure compliance with company policies when processing invoices and payments. • Collaborate with internal departments to address payment inquiries and resolve issues. • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and contribute to periodic reporting tasks. • Support audits by providing detailed accounts payable documentation as needed. • Continuously evaluate and improve accounts payable processes for efficiency. Requirements • A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in coding invoices and managing electronic payment systems. • Strong knowledge of check runs and invoice processing. • Experience with credit card reconciliation and handling credit card payments. • Familiarity with bill of ladings and purchase order creation. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
