Description We are looking for a Accounts Payable Specialist for a role in Mason. In this role, you will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices with precision and efficiency, contributing to the seamless functioning of the Accounts Payable department. This is a Contract to Employment position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth within the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities: • Accurately input large volumes of invoices into the system, ensuring data integrity and efficiency. • Collaborate with team members to handle approximately 2,000 invoices weekly, sharing responsibilities across various vendors. • Prepare invoice batches and address inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders. • Provide general support to the Accounts Payable department, with potential for expanded responsibilities such as applying payments in the future. • Maintain a team-oriented approach, working flexibly across all vendor accounts. • Utilize Oracle and other relevant systems to streamline data entry processes and support departmental operations. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related data entry role. • Strong proficiency in data entry, including numeric input, with high levels of accuracy and speed. • Familiarity with Oracle or similar systems is preferred. • Ability to manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced team environment. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams. • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on maintaining data integrity. • Willingness to adapt and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
