Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in New York, NY. Responsibilities: • Process between 50 and 100 invoices weekly with accuracy and efficiency. • Perform detailed data entry tasks to ensure financial records are up to date. • Manage invoice payments and adhere to established deadlines. • Utilize basic Microsoft Excel skills for tracking and reporting purposes. • Reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions align with company records. • Handle coding of invoices to appropriate accounts and categories. • Conduct check runs for timely payments to vendors. • Use accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to streamline workflows. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in invoices or payments. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field. • Proficiency in processing invoices and performing account reconciliations. • Familiarity with accounting software like Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. • Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel for basic data organization and reporting. • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently. • Experience in coding invoices and conducting check runs. • Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and vendors. • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
