Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Prosper, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of invoices, reconciliation of accounts, and communication with vendors. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of our financial operations while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: • Process invoices in alignment with company policies and guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Manage check run procedures and ensure payments are completed as scheduled. • Communicate effectively with vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams to address account-related queries. • Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts and promptly resolve discrepancies. • Identify and propose process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounts payable operations. • Collaborate with internal departments to obtain and review required documentation for payment processing. • Handle corporate card reconciliations and oversee travel expense reimbursements. • Take on ad-hoc duties as assigned to support the accounts payable function. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in accounts payable processes and invoice management. • Proficiency in using SAP or similar financial systems. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform accurate reconciliations. • Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams. • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Familiarity with corporate card reconciliation and travel expense procedures. • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in financial transactions.
