Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join an automotive organization in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is a long-term contract position, offering an opportunity to support critical financial operations in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable invoices in an efficient and timely manner. • Prepare and issue checks to vendors and suppliers. • Post journal entries and payments accurately within accounting systems. • Reconcile accounts and schedules to ensure financial accuracy. • Assist in the preparation and filing of 1099 forms. • Maintain updated and organized records of financial transactions. • Collaborate with the Controller and Office Manager to support financial operations. • Adapt to new software platforms and tools as required. • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the finance team. Requirements • At least one year of recent experience in accounts payable. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at a basic to intermediate level. • Ability to enter data quickly and accurately. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Capacity to learn and work with new software systems. • Reliability and commitment to meeting deadlines. • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
