Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Bartlett, Tennessee. In this role, you will handle high-volume invoice processing and ensure the accuracy of financial records in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented approach and a strong ability to work with various accounting systems. Responsibilities: • Process a high volume of invoices efficiently and accurately to meet deadlines. • Perform account reconciliations to ensure all financial data is balanced and accurate. • Manage coding of invoices and ensure proper allocation to appropriate accounts. • Conduct regular check runs to facilitate timely payments to vendors. • Enter financial data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail. • Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve payment issues. • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle to streamline workflows. • Generate reports and maintain detailed records of accounts payable activities. • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Provide support for audits by organizing and retrieving relevant documentation. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, with a focus on high-volume invoice processing. • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Solid understanding of coding invoices and account reconciliation processes. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. • Familiarity with manufacturing industry practices is a plus.
