Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client in Granville, Ohio. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual skilled in financial processes, including invoice coding and reconciliations. As a Contract-to-permanent opportunity, this role offers the potential for long-term growth within the construction industry. Responsibilities: • Perform month-end closing activities, including financial reporting and intercompany reconciliations. • Process 35-40 invoices weekly using manual procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Conduct regular check runs, with aspirations to increase frequency from two to four runs. • Utilize Excel and Word for data entry, filtering, and sorting tasks. • Operate and manage general office equipment, including fax machines. • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations. • Maintain accurate records of invoice coding and payment processing. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and reconciliation. • Proficiency in conducting check runs and processing invoices. • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word. • Ability to manage and operate standard office equipment, including fax machines. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Familiarity with data entry and sorting tasks. • Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams. • Previous experience in a construction or contractor industry setting is a plus.
