Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Daytona Beach, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes. Responsibilities: • Process and enter invoices into the accounts payable system with precision and attention to detail. • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Perform coding of invoices according to established guidelines and procedures. • Organize and maintain records related to accounts payable, including filing and documentation. • Assist in reconciling discrepancies and resolving issues with vendors and internal departments. • Support the team during software implementation by ensuring AP data is accurately entered and updated. • Collaborate with colleagues to streamline workflows and improve efficiency within the accounts payable function. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role in a setting that requires attention to detail. • Strong skills in data entry with a focus on accuracy and speed. • Familiarity with invoice processing and coding procedures. • Ability to match invoices to purchase orders and receipts effectively. • Proficiency in maintaining organized and systematic records. • Excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams. • Capacity to adapt to new systems and processes during implementation phases.
