Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Melbourne, Florida. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail who excels in managing high-volume invoice processing and vendor communications. The position is entirely office-based, offering hands-on involvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: • Process large volumes of invoices with accuracy and efficiency. • Conduct regular check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices through research and communication. • Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and maintain strong working relationships. • Organize and file financial documents to ensure easy access and compliance. • Reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records. • Perform data entry tasks to update accounting systems with essential information. • Apply coding to invoices to align with company standards and procedures. • Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks to manage transactions. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable within a high-volume environment. • Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel. • Strong skills in invoice processing, account reconciliation, and check runs. • Ability to code invoices accurately and maintain organized financial records. • Excellent problem-solving abilities to address invoice discrepancies. • Effective communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams. • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. • Familiarity with filing systems and document management processes.
