Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Pompano Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy, ensuring smooth and efficient processing of invoices and payments. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with accounts payable processes. Responsibilities: • Process and enter invoices into QuickBooks Online with accuracy and efficiency. • Review statements to identify and resolve missing or outstanding invoices. • Ensure proper coding of invoices to the correct accounts. • Perform regular check runs and verify payment schedules. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions. • Communicate with vendors to address discrepancies and clarify payment details. • Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts payable records. • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to financial operations. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts payable processes. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with its features. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy. • Excellent typing speed and data entry skills. • Effective organizational and time management abilities. • Construction industry experience is preferred but not required. • Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and team members.
