Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Dresden, New York. Responsibilities: • Process and review invoices for accuracy and ensure timely payments. • Assign appropriate codes to invoices and verify compliance with company policies. • Conduct regular check runs and reconcile vendor accounts. • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address payment inquiries. • Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts payable. • Monitor and update payment schedules to ensure deadlines are met. • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information. • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company guidelines. • Continuously evaluate processes for efficiency and implement improvements as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in coding invoices and managing check runs. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to process invoices with accuracy and meet deadlines. • Familiarity with financial systems and software. • Excellent communication skills for vendor and team collaboration. • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards. • Ability to adapt to new processes and tools in a dynamic environment.
