Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in New York City! This is a fully remote opportunity for a growing food service company, and offers great career growth opportunity. Responsibilities: • Efficiently processing invoices and ensuring accurate coding • Setting up new utility accounts for all new locations via phone calls • Ensuring timely and accurate payments are made to vendors and suppliers • Monitoring and managing an AP email inbox with high traffic and assisting vendors with inquiries • Managing the T& E platform and related processes, including reviewing transaction coding and assisting with employee T& E inquiries • Managing credit line for the T& E platform • Completing vendor credit applications as required • Preparing monthly reconciliations for accounts payable • Performing vendor maintenance tasks such as onboarding new vendors, verifying W9, banking instructions, and contact information, and confirming changes to existing records • Preparing weekly and monthly AP reports as needed • Preparing annual 1099 reporting • Participating in special projects, optimization initiatives, ERP enhancements, internal controls, and ad hoc analyses. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) • Experience in conducting Check Runs • Knowledge and understanding of Coding Invoices • Strong Data Entry skills • Proven experience in Invoice Processing • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience with Dynamics GP, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics Ax, and other Dynamics software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
