Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Lenexa, Kansas. In this role, you will play a key part in managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices to ensure proper documentation and accuracy. • Handle full-cycle accounts payable tasks, including data entry and reconciliations. • Manage vendor communications to resolve discrepancies and inquiries. • Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure compliance with company policies. • Prepare and execute payments in a timely manner. • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and audits. • Monitor accounts payable aging and address overdue items promptly. • Assist in streamlining accounts payable procedures to enhance efficiency. Requirements • Previous experience in accounts payable or a related finance role. • Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounts payable processes. • Proficiency in using accounting software and tools. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Strong communication skills for vendor and internal team interactions. • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
