Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Amesbury, Massachusetts. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of financial operations while ensuring accuracy in invoice processing and payment handling. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate coding and entry into financial systems. • Handle check runs and ensure timely payment to vendors. • Assist in monthly accruals and maintain organized financial records. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and address vendor inquiries. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during invoice processing. • Maintain accurate records of transactions for auditing purposes. • Support the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable. • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency in payment workflows. • Monitor accounts payable activities to ensure deadlines are consistently met. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or related financial roles. • Proficiency in coding invoices and processing payments. • Strong understanding of check runs and monthly accruals. • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Excellent communication skills to address vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies. • Familiarity with financial systems and tools for invoice processing. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
