Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the non-profit sector, offering an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing end-to-end accounts payable processes and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. Responsibilities: • Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice coding, data entry, and payment processing. • Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely and accurate disbursement of payments. • Verify and reconcile invoices while adhering to organizational policies and procedures. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze financial records and reports. • Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and ensure proper documentation. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. • Operate and maintain proficiency in Abila MIP software for accounting processes. • Provide support in maintaining compliance with financial regulations and guidelines. • Assist in streamlining accounts payable operations to improve efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, including full-cycle processing. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial analysis. • Familiarity with Abila MIP accounting software or similar systems. • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in financial records. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. • Experience in the non-profit sector is preferred but not required. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
