Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a vital role in processing vendor invoices and maintaining accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Process high volumes of invoices daily, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve discrepancies as needed. • Utilize electronic workflow systems to streamline invoice approvals and payment processes. • Maintain and update vendor records in accounting systems to ensure accurate data entry. • Collaborate with team members and suppliers to address payment inquiries and resolve issues. • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to identify and correct errors in invoice processing. • Ensure adherence to deadlines for payment cycles and reporting requirements. • Exhibit a proactive and self-driven approach to managing daily tasks efficiently. • Uphold a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial transactions. Requirements • 2-5 years of experience in accounts payable, including invoice entry and purchase order matching. • Proven ability to handle high volumes of invoices, with 150+ processed per day. • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and numeric data entry. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes. • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems quickly. • Effective problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing challenges. • A commitment to staying in the accounts payable field and growing within the role.
