Our client in Rockwall is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. This is a Permanent position scheduled to last for 6 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the billing process, show attention to detail with accurate and efficient work which will align with the organization

 Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Rockwall, Texas
Pay Range: $20 to $24
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8am to 5pm


Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue accurate invoices based on sales orders, shipping documents, and customer agreements. Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies before invoice submission. Collaborate with Sales, Shipping, and Customer Service teams to ensure complete billing information. Submit invoices electronically or manually in a timely manner. Maintain organized billing records in our ERP system. Respond promptly to internal and external billing inquiries. Support month-end closing through reconciliation and reporting. Assist with credit memos, adjustments, and re-billing. Monitor open billing items and follow up on missing documentation. Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You'll Need: High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business is a plus). 2+ years of billing or general accounting experience, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with ERP systems (Epicor, SAP, or similar platforms is a plus). A team mindset and eagerness to learn and grow.
