Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Biddeford, Maine. This role is a Contract opportunity, offering you the chance to work in an education setting. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to process accounts payable and data entry efficiently. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable transactions with accuracy and attention to detail. • Maintain electronic filing systems to ensure records are organized and easily accessible. • Enter data into Banner software and other relevant systems, adhering to university standards. • Collaborate with team members, including the manager and four staff members, to support departmental operations. • Utilize SharePoint for document management and communication purposes. • Handle email correspondence related to accounts payable inquiries and processes. • Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures in all financial activities. • Provide administrative support to the business office as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in Banner software and electronic filing systems. • Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy. • Familiarity with SharePoint for document management. • Excellent organizational and time management abilities. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work on-site during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
