Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Perform account reconciliations to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records. • Conduct regular check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors. • Code invoices correctly and input data into accounting systems. • Manage data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in accounts payable. • Utilize software tools such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting. • Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to accounts payable. • Maintain organized records of transactions and vendor communications. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role. • Proficiency in software tools including Microsoft Excel, SAP, Oracle, and QuickBooks. • Strong knowledge of invoice coding and reconciliation processes. • Ability to perform accurate data entry and manage large volumes of financial information. • Familiarity with check runs and payment processing. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
