Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Rogers, Arkansas. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and administrative tasks. In this role, you will support the Corporate Accounting team with various responsibilities, contributing to the month-end preparation, journal entries, and customer service efforts. Responsibilities: • Process and enter invoices accurately and efficiently to ensure timely payments. • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records and documentation. • Assist with journal entries and account reconciliations to support month-end closing procedures. • Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries and resolve payment-related issues. • Collaborate with the Controller and Accounting team to complete assigned projects and tasks. • Support administrative duties within the accounting department, ensuring smooth operations. • Monitor and maintain organized records to facilitate audits and reporting requirements. • Identify discrepancies in invoices or accounts and take corrective actions promptly. • Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with company policies. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or accounts payable role. • Proficiency in invoice processing and data entry. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. • Familiarity with journal entries and month-end preparation processes. • Excellent communication and customer service abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Basic knowledge of accounting software and tools. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in financial records.
