Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our team in the Tolleson area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a dynamic and growing company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounts payable processes and proficiency in using QuickBooks. This role requires a candidate who can work efficiently, manage multiple priorities, and perform all duties with accuracy and professionalism. The chosen candidate must also be able to pass a background check. Key Responsibilities: + Process a high volume of invoices with accuracy and ensure timely payments to vendors. + Review and verify purchase orders, invoices, and payment requests for completeness and compliance with company policies. + Enter invoices into QuickBooks, ensuring accurate coding to the general ledger. + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors professionally and in a timely manner. + Prepare check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments as required. + Assist with month-end closing activities, including accounts payable reconciliations. + Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions, both electronic and physical. + Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors to address payment inquiries and discrepancies. Requirements Qualifications: + Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or business administration is a plus. + Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on accounts payable experience. Experience with QuickBooks is required. + Skills: + Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing accounts payable. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications preferred. Requirements: + This is a temp-to-hire position that requires full-time availability. + Candidate must successfully pass a background check before starting. + Reliable transportation to the Tolleson area.
