Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in south Orange County , California. This is a contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficient handling of financial transactions and records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and proficiency in accounting software. Responsibilities: • Process invoices accurately and ensure proper coding for timely payment. • Reconcile account statements to maintain accurate financial records. • Conduct check runs and verify payment information for completeness. • Match purchase orders with invoices and receipts to ensure compliance with company protocols. • Perform data entry tasks to update accounting systems with relevant financial information. • Organize and maintain accounts payable files and documentation for easy access and reference. • Assist with miscellaneous accounts payable paperwork and administrative tasks. • Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks and Oracle, to manage financial data effectively. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in invoices or payments. • Deliver reports and summaries as needed to support financial operations. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role. • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing financial data.
