Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Morrisville, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting day-to-day financial operations. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in accounts payable processes. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly coded. • Respond to vendor and customer inquiries in a timely and attentive manner. • Perform check runs and reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy. • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to manage financial transactions and records. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth workflow. • Maintain organized records of invoices and payment transactions. • Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities. • Support month-end closing processes by ensuring all invoices are accounted for. • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related role. • Proficiency in invoice processing, coding, and data entry. • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central and Excel. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to handle check runs and reconcile financial accounts. • Effective communication skills for managing vendor inquiries. • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. • Capability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
