Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting the overall accounts payable operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: • Process and code invoices accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. • Perform account reconciliation to verify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. • Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers. • Enter and maintain accurate data in accounting systems, including Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. • Review invoices for proper authorization and documentation prior to payment. • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to address inquiries and resolve payment issues. • Prepare reports related to accounts payable activities using Microsoft Excel. • Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. • Assist in maintaining organized records for audit and compliance purposes. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. • Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and analyze spreadsheets. • Attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Familiarity with invoice processing and coding procedures.
